Aaron Cook named MVP of Revue Palace Ruhr Cup

October 1, 2012 — Pro Partner Sports Management’s Aaron Cook continues to make his mark in Germany where he was recently named MVP of the Revue Palace Rurh Cup.  Playing for the ProA club ETB Wohnbau Essen, Cook was the star of the preseason tournament. In the final game, the 6’1″ Baltimore product put up 18 points and 9 assists to seal the victory and the championship for his team.  Cook was heavily recruited this month by Essen for versatility as both scorer and facilitator.  Just two seasons ago, Cook had a Player of the Year-caliber season playing for Cuxhaven as he averaged 17.2ppg, 4.9rpg, 6.6apg, and 1.6spg (FGP: 51.9%). Last year for the Crailsheim Merlins, Cook was again solid averaging 11.7 ppg, 2.5 rpg and 3.6 apg.

Going into his seventh year of professional basketball, the all-time leader in three-pointers made and former captain at the University of Hartford will be one of the more experienced players on Essen and depended upon for his poise and big-game experience as they strive to add a ProA championship and promotion to the BBL on top of the Ruhr Cup title.
